The classic which is grown in just about every wine growing region of the world. Born in France between a cross of Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc.
Colour: Ruby red with purple highlights.
Nose: Grapey, slightly herbaceous, spicy.
Palate: Medium structure, round with typical balsamic and fruit notes.
Ideal match: with salame or try it with seared roastbeef; polenta with cheese, medium aged cheese dishes.
Serving temperature: 16 – 18° C.
